Box Score 2 WEST POINT, NY. – Last week the Sacred Heart University women's volleyball team swept a match and went to five sets to win the other. Unfortunately, the Pioneers were on the short end of that same stick during a Friday doubleheader at the Black Knight Invitational, hosted by Army West Point. SHU lost 3-0 (25-22, 25-16, 25-2) to High Point then dropped a 3-2 (24-26, 25-22, 25-23, 26-28, 15-5) to the host Black Knights.

The deciding set couldn't have gone any worse for SHU as Army jumped out to an 8-0 lead. The Black Knights got half of their points off SHU miscues.
Senior setter
Sarah Ciszek notched her second triple-double in as many weeks with 43 assists, 14 kills and 18 digs. Rogers added a double-double with 13 kills and 17 digs. Fairchild led the team with 16 kills and Felix produced 10.
Army had a 6-1 advantage at the service line and outblocked SHU, 15-9.
In the opener, the Pioneers dug themselves a 22-16 hole, but rallied to win six-straight points. The Panthers regrouped and took the set thanks to two kills and an ace.
Sacred Heart had a 13-11 lead in set two, but let HPU close on a 14-2 run. The Panthers used an 8-2 stretch in the third set to end any hopes of a Sacred Heart comeback.
No player reached double digit kills as Ciszek had a team-high eight, but only recorded 13 assists.
