FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Junior Desiree Crawford posted the first multi-goal game of her career as she led the Sacred Heart University women's soccer team past St. Francis Brooklyn, 3-0, on Thursday afternoon. The Springfield, Mass. native netted a career-best two goals in the conference victory.

Grace O'Hara played the ball to the feet of Crawford who buried the ball into the back of the net to get the Pioneers on the board in the 59^th minute.

Ten minutes later, Azria Malloy took a chance at a goal that ricocheted off the post. Crawford possessed the rebound and fired it past the Terrier keeper for the two-goal cushion.

With ten minutes remaining in the game, Oliva Kells served it across the box to a wide-open O'Hara for the final goal of the contest.

Sacred Heart proved to be the aggressors as they outshot St. Francis, 20-4, and forced 13 corner opportunities compared to the Terrier's four. SHU's 13 corners are the most the team has attempted this season.
