Palanchi rips 13 kills
FAIRFIELD, CONN. – On the night when it recognized its graduating student-athletes, it wasn't a celebration for the Sacred Heart University women's volleyball team. The Pioneers lost their final regular season game, 3-1 (25-19, 25-20, 19-25, 25-21) to Saint Francis on Saturday.

The Pioneers struggled to find their offensive rhythm in the first two sets. SHU was limited to a .026 hitting percentage in the second frame as the hosts found themselves down 2-0.
Sacred Heart came alive in the third set as it hit .500, but a 6-0 run in the middle of the fourth set gave the Red Flash a lead they would not relinquish.
Saint Francis doubled up the Pioneers in blocks (12-to-6) and had nine aces to the Pioneers' two.
Four Pioneers had 10 or more kills with Reghan Palanchi topping the team with 13. Jasmine Rogers notched a 10 kill, 16-dig double-double. Sarah Ciszek just missed a double-double with 36 assists and nine digs.
