McNicholas Picks Up Second NEC Diver of the Week Honor

Junior posted a pair of top-two finishes at Stony Brook
SOMERSET, N.J. – It's becoming a trend that Sacred Heart University divers tradeoff who will get the Northeast Conference's Diver of the Week award. For the second time this season it went to junior Olivia McNicholas as she was recognized by the league on Wednesday.
For the Hicksville, NY native it's her second award of the season and seventh of her career. Howard picked up the other two awards with Zuilda Nwaeze earning Swimmer and Rookie of the Week.
Against Stony Brook, McNicholas captured the three-meter competition with a winning total of 237.22. She finished second on the one-meter board with a score of 235.72 that is just off her career-best score.
SHU returns to conference competition this weekend when it faces Howard and LIU.
