
Grant Repeats as All-New England Selection

Senior running back is 17th in the country in rushing.
FRAMINGHAM, Mass. – For the second year in a row, Sacred Heart University running back Malik Grant was recognized as one of the top players in the region. He was honored by the New England Football Writers with a selection to the All-New England team.
Grant was one of the top running back in the Northeast Conference, rating third in the league with 98.2 yards per game while his 1,070 yards is 17th in the FCS. At Wagner he produced a season-high 165 yards and recorded three touchdowns. Grant had a career-long run of 66 yards at Merrimack.
The Bronx, NY native had seven 100-yard rushing games and crossed the goal line twice versus LIU to finish the season with an NEC-best 14 scores. He was named NEC Offensive Player of the Week after rushing for three touchdowns in the win over Dartmouth. Grant is fourth in school history with 2,598 rushing yards and seventh at 27 touchdowns.
