COLCHESTER, VT. — Sacred Heart University women's ice hockey hit the road Saturday afternoon to visit Saint Michael's College, winning 4-0.

Katie Keenan started off the afternoon with her fourth goal of the year with help from Charlotte Huntington and Delani Mackay to give the Pios a 1-0 lead 7:47 into the first period. A pair of second period goals from Erika Lizotte and Rachael DeLong put the Pios up 3-0 heading into the third period. Mackay would find Keenan to put the Pios up 4-0 to give them both multiple point games.

Carly Greene shutout the Purple Knights for the second straight day, saving 23 shots.

SHU goes to 8-12-1 on the year and 8-6-1 in NEWHA play as they finish the 2022 slate of games. The Pioneers next game will be back in Colchester, VT at Saint Michael's on January 3.
