Pioneers Travel to Stony Brook in Third Consecutive Road Game

Sacred Heart plays its third of four straight road games

FAIRFIELD, Conn.—The Sacred Heart University men's basketball team plays its third consecutive road game as the Pioneers travel to Stony Brook for the teams sixth meeting. The Pioneers are 5-6 on the season, while the Seawolves are 2-7. Game time is set for 6:30 PM at the Island Federal Arena.

  • This is the sixth meeting between SHU and Stony Brook. The Pioneers hold the advantage in the series, 3-2. In the last game between the two, the Seawolves won by three, 75-72, last season on November 22, 2021. Both Bryce Johnson and Nico Galette recorded double-doubles in the loss, Aaron Clarke, who now plays at Stony Brook, had 18 points for the Pioneers. The last time Sacred Heart beat Stony Brook was November 18, 2012, 64-62, on the road.
