SHU Adds Devan Duddy to Compliance Staff

UNH grad brings seven years of higher education experience.
FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Sacred Heart University Director of Athletics Judy Ann Riccio announced the hiring of Devan Duddy as assistant athletic director for compliance. Most recently Duddy worked in the Quinnipiac athletics department.
While completing her juris doctor degree at Quinnipiac, Duddy created educational materials to ensure compliance amongst the Bobcat staff with NCAA and Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference rules. Much of her work was focused on the new Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) legislation.
"I would like to thank Judy Ann Riccio, and Tammy Petrucelli for giving me the opportunity to join SHU athletics," Duddy said. "I am very excited to join the SHU family, and work alongside such amazing people."
Also during her tenure at Quinnipiac, she served as an intern for the Quinnipiac Civil Justice Clinic. Duddy got her first experience in high education while working for the admissions department at her alma mater, the University of New Haven.
Originally from Long Island, NY, Duddy earned her undergrad degree from UNH in 2018. She completed her JD from Quinnipiac in 2021.
