Kipperman tallies 14th career shutout
FAIRFIELD, Conn.– A lone goal in the opening half by Azria Malloy propelled the Sacred Heart University women's soccer team to a 1-0 win over Manhattan College on Thursday.
Of Note:
The Pioneers travel to face Delaware on Sunday, Sept. 11, when they face the University of Delaware. Game-time is set for 1:00 p.m.
Of Note:
- After a scoreless 26:00 minutes in the opening half, senior Azria Malloy gave the Pioneers a 1-0 lead 26:25 into the game.
- The goal was all the Pioneers needed as the defense of SHU held Manhattan to three shots on goal for the entire game.
- Senior goalkeeper Elyssa Kipperman tallied her 14th career shutout victory as she recorded three saves.
