Bollentino picks up the win at 174 pounds.

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – While the team score was in favor of visiting VMI, the Sacred Heart University men's wrestling team was in nearly every match Sunday against the Keydets. VMI prevailed, 35-3.

The loss dropped the Pioneers to 0-8. VMI improved to 6-3.

Six of the first eight bouts were settled by decision with a number of close contests. Coming through with SHU's lone win was Ryan Bollentino as he recorded a dominant 7-1 victory at 174 pounds.

Sacred Heart is back in EVIA competition in two weeks versus Franklin & Marshall.
