FAIRFIELD, Conn. — Sacred Heart women's ice hockey is back in game action after a 10-day hiatus as it hosts the Eagles of Post Tuesday at 4 p.m. at Martire Family Arena.

The Pioneers are riding a three-game winning streak, all coming since the opening of Martire Family Arena on Jan. 15 in an overtime win against Harvard. Two of those victories were consecutive 3-2 wins against Post.

Sydney Antonakis has scored in two consecutive games for the Pioneers and is now third on the team with eight goals on the season. She trails scoring leaders Delani MacKay (11) and Paige McNeil (9).

First-year blue liner Julianna Koman was named as the New England Women's Hockey Alliance Defensive Player of the Week, marking the fourth time a Pioneer has won the award this season. The Washington, Pa., native helped Sacred Heart to two victories in NEWHA play, as she scored her first collegiate goal in a win over Post. She blocked a shot in both games against the Eagles and is one of three members of the Pioneers roster to have at least 30 blocked shots this season.

Molly Elmore was recognized on the honor roll for Goaltender of the Week for her 22-save effort in a win against Post.

The Eagles come into Tuesday's game on a six-game losing streak after dropping a pair of games to Stonehill College by a combined score of 11-2 last week.
