Box Score FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The Sacred Heart University men's soccer team fought defencing Northeast Conference (NEC) champions of FDU to a scoreless draw in road league action on Sunday afternoon. Matthias Dick and Olliver Persson each had two shots on goal.

SHU outshot the Knights 15-to-12 and 4-to-3 on goal. The Pios also tallied five corner opportunities to FDU's three.
 
In the first half of the game, SHU saw an early opportunity in the fifth minute when Dick shot high left off a Pioneer corner kick but was punched away by keeper, Spencer King. In the 17^th minute Dick and Persson had back-to-back shots on goal but were unable to find the back of the net.

The Pioneers came close to scoring when Persson placed himself nicely in the middle of the box with a hard shot low and center but King was able to get ahold of it
