EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. – Junior Blake Stewart set two personal-records to lead the Sacred Heart University men's track and field team at the 23rd-Annual East Stroudsburg DeSchriver Invitational. 

Stewart tallied a pair of top-15 finishes on the afternoon, placing seventh in the long jump with a PR mark 6.43m and 13th in the 55m dash (6.88). 

Aidan Glennon tallied the Pioneers' lone top-five showing in the shot put. The sophomore posted a throw of 14.00m to place fourth. 

Junior Cody Davis also collected a top-10 outing, finishing sixth in the 1,000 meters with a time of 3:04.11. The 4x400 relay team of Ryan Jaipaul, Jarred Saltz, Jakob Sargent, and Christian Selverian also earned a sixth-place finish.  

Rounding out the Pios' top-10 finishers was Eamon Bednarcik, whose PR pole-vault mark of 3.30m was good for 10th.

Sacred Heart added four more finishers in the top 15 in Andrew McMillen, Liam Tharin, Maxwell Gibbs, and Jaipaul. McMillen placed 11th in the 800 meters (2:33.13), Tharin took 12th in the shot put (12.50m), Gibbs earned 13th in the weight throw (12.08m), and Jaipaul earned a 15th-place finish in the 400m dash (56.46). 

The Pioneers continue their indoor season on Sunday and Monday, Feb. 19-20, for the Northeast Conference Indoor Championships at the Ocean Breeze Track & Field Center in Staten Island, N.Y.
