Pryor Receives Fourth MBWA Honorable Mention

First year picked up 10th NEC Rookie of the Week nod
NEW YORK, N.Y.— Sacred Heart University women's basketball guard Ny'Ceara Pryor added another weekly accolade to her resume as she was named a Metropolitan Basketball Writer's Association Honorable Mention for the fourth time. The Baltimore, Md. native is the only player in program history for the most accolades received.
Pryor registered back-to-back 20+ point performances and led the Pioneers in both assists and steals in the last two contests. The first year had 25 points along with three assists and six steals at Wagner (2/2), followed by 21 points, five assists and five steals at Central Connecticut State (2/4).
Pryor recently picked up her 10th NEC Rookie of the Week honors on Monday. She ranks second in league history in the most ROW honors received. Saint Francis' Jess Kovatch (2015-19) currently leads the conference in this category with 13.
Sacred Heart is back in action on Thursday as it hosts Saint Francis (Pa.) for its Think Pink Game at 7 p.m.
