Three SHU Boats Take Second
NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – Four Sacred Heart boats raced on the waters of Glen Island Park today until the weather curtailed many of the finals. The Pios had three second-place finishes and a fourth place in heats at the 2023 Spring Metropolitan Championships.
Both the first and second varsity eights were second behind Fordham, while the SHU varsity four was fourth in its heat prior to finals behind canceled.
The Pioneers' novice four was the other second-place finish. All the second-place finishers in heats earned Silver medals.
