Four Men’s Soccer Players Awarded CSC Academic All-District

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Aidan Borra, Matthias Dick, David Garcia Gallego and Nick Kirby of the Sacred Heart University men's soccer team were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District team.
Borra, a graduate midfielder, has maintained a 3.517 GPA while obtaining his Master of Business Administration. The Syosset, N.Y., native started 15 of 16 games scoring two goals and three assists.
Dick, a junior defender, has maintained a 3.567 GPA while studying business economics. The Germany native started 15 of 13 games, scoring three penalty kick goals. He was awarded MAAC All-Third team accolades.
Junior forward/midfielder Garcia Gallego has maintained a 3.84 GPA while studying marketing. The Spain native started 15 of 15 games for SHU leading the team with 10 points with five goals. He was tabbed All-MAAC First Team as a midfielder.
Kirby, a senior defender, has maintained a 3.631 GPA while studying sports management. The Nutley, N.J., native appeared in 15 games and started six.
