FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Sacred Heart University football coach
Mark Nofri announced on Wednesday the addition of nine signees in the early signing period for the 2025 signing class.
"We are excited to welcome this new group of talented student-athletes to our program," Nofri said. "Our coaching staff has worked diligently to address our needs both offensively and defensively. They have done an excellent job of identifying young men who are not only skilled on the field but also embody the values of a SHU football player."
The newest Pioneers on offense include three offensive linemen, a wide receiver, a running back, and tight end. On the defensive side of the ball, SHU signed a linebacker, a lineman, and a corner back.
The two well-represented states are New York and Maryland with two. There are also one from New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Illinois.
