North Andover, Mass. - The Sacred Heart University women's tennis team swept Merrimack in its Northeast Conference (NEC) opener Sunday afternoon.

Katsiaryna Starastsenka, Flavia Rambaldi, Olivia Kharkover, Ciara O'Toole and Aina Garriga all secured wins in their singles and doubles matches.

Kim Fenton joined Starastsenka in the Pioneers' win at No. 1 doubles. Ana Sofia Angeles Sanchez picked up the No. 6 singles victory 6-0 and 6-0.
