FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The Sacred Heart University football team and head coach Mark Nofri announced its 2024 schedule Monday afternoon, which features six home games at Campus Field.
 
The Pioneers, in their first season as an FCS Independent, begin 2024 with three straight home games, including the opener against Delaware State on Aug. 31. 
 
Following the home opener, Sacred Heart faces Northeast-10 Conference opponent Saint Anselm on Sept. 7 before welcoming Georgetown to Campus Field seven days later on Homecoming & Alumni Weekend.
 
The Pioneers then close out the month of September with a pair of road games against Stonehill on Sept. 21 and Delaware on Sept. 28.
 
October opens with a home date against Norfolk State on Oct. 5 before a two-game road stint with Howard on Oct. 12 and Lafayette on Oct. 19.
 
One week later, the Pioneers resume play on the road against Mercyhurst on Oct. 26. SHU's final home game of the season comes on Nov. 9 against LIU. 
 
The Pioneers finish the season with an away game against Merrimack on Nov. 16.
