Haas secures 19th at CSCAA National Invitational Championship

Haas improves her time in the 50-yard butterfly from prelims
OCALA, Fla. – Emma Haas of the Sacred Heart University swim and dive team finished in 19th place in the 50-yard butterfly on day one at the CSCAA National Invitational Championship.
In prelims, Haas secured the 19th position with her time of 25.50 to return to finals. The top 20 swimmers from the morning returned.
At night, Haas returned ready to swim and improved upon her time to secure the 19th place finish with a final time of 24.46.
Haas is the first Pioneer to ever score at a national meet in program history.
Tomorrow, Haas will race the 100-yard freestyle as a time trial event. Prelims begin at 9:30 a.m.
