Pioneers Have Strong Showing at the Holy Cross Invitational

SHU raced in a competitive field of five schools
WORCESTER, MASS—In a competitive field at the Holy Cross Invitational, the Sacred Hearty University rowing team had a strong showing on Saturday. The Pioneers were competing with Boston College, MIT, UConn, and the hosts, Holy Cross.
The 1V8 finished fourth overall at 7:09.44. The 2V8 had a fifth-place finish with a time of 7:29.39, and the 3V8 took third at 7:58.15.
In the V4+ races, the 1V4 placed fourth at 8:06.12 and the 2V4 took third with an 8:26.92 time.
The Pioneers will be back in action on Sunday, April 5 when they host the SHU Spring Invitational at the Beacon Point Marine. SHU will also honor their seniors for Senior Day and will celebrate their alumni with an Alumni Party.
