Pioneers Start Strong at Tri-Meet

Pios up big after first two events
NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. - The Sacred Heart Women's Swimming and Diving Team competed at Iona University on Friday evening for the first two events out of 13.
Ryleigh Mahoney scored 261.50 points in the 1m and 265.70 in the 3m en route to first place in both events.
Kara Leahy got second place in the 1m with a score of 228.35 and third in the 3m scoring 223.95.
Sinclair Yadao's 239.2 points earned her second place in the 3m and third place in the 1m with a score of 228.
SHU is currently up 32-0 on both Iona and Wagner after Day 1.
The Pios compete in the final day of the tri-meet tomorrow.
