Ryleigh Mahoney gets 1st place in 1M and 3M
FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The Sacred Heart University women's diving team opened the season with at the Fairfield Invite on Friday evening at Fairfield University.
Ryleigh Mahoney captured first place in the 1-meter dive with a score of 235.10, which ranks fifth all-time in program history. Teammate Kara Leahy finished second with a score of 230.40, while Sinclair Yadao placed fourth at 204.65.
In the 3-meter event, Mahoney again took first place, followed by Leahy in second and Yadao in fourth.
The Pioneers return to action on Saturday, October 4, when they host Stony Brook University at 12:30 p.m. at the McCann Natatorium in Milford.
