Rowing Picked 2nd in MAAC Preseason Poll

SHU just two points behind preseason favorite
EDISON, NJ – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) announced the 2025 Women's Rowing Preseason Coaches' Poll, voted on by the league's head coaches. The Sacred Heart University women's rowing team was selected second.
After their second-place finish at the MAAC Championship last season, the highest finish in program history, the Pioneers were voted second in the preseason poll with 75 points including three first-place votes, just two points behind preseason favorite and defending champions Jacksonville.
Fairfield University was tabbed third, receiving 60 points, while Marist University (57) and Stetson University (45) rounded out the top five.

The 2025 MAAC Women's Rowing Championship will take place at Cooper River Park in Pennsauken Township, NJ, on May 18, 2025.
