Four Pioneers Earn ECAC Honors

SHU places third at ECAC Championship
CHARLESTON, S.C. - The Sacred Heart equestrian team competed in the ECAC SD Championship over the weekend, placing third. The Pioneers fell to the host College of Charleston 7-3 and Dartmouth 6-4.
Emma Grimes was named to the ECAC All-Tournament team in Flat.
In addition, the All-ECAC teams were named. Grimes was selected all-conference in Flat, while Kylie Hwalek and Rebecca Skelton were All-ECAC in Fences. Carina Muratore won the Sportsmanship Award.

The Pioneers compete in the Zone II Region IV Championship this weekend hosted by LIU at North Shore Equestrian in Brookville, N.Y.
