SHU Leads MAAC Academic Honor Roll

Pios Qualify 438 Student-Athletes

EDISON, NJ – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) today announced that a conference record of 3,662 student-athletes were named to the 2024-25 MAAC Academic Honor Roll and Sacred Heart University led the way with 438.
 
To be eligible for the MAAC Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or higher on a 4.0 scale. The Academic Honor Roll is open to both full and associate members in the MAAC. All 24 conference-sponsored sports are represented.
 
Marist University placed the second-most student-athletes with 375 on the list, followed by Mount St. Mary's University with 343 selections. Rounding out the top five were Merrimack College and Iona University with 314 and 305 honorees, respectively.
 
LIU led all MAAC associate members with 31 student-athletes selected to the Academic Honor Roll. Wagner College was second with 20 choices, while Robert Morris and Villanova added 19 athletes apiece on the list to lead associate schools.
