Fairfield, Conn. – Following the second consecutive series sweep against Saint Michael's, Hailey Jussila took home the New England Women's Hockey Alliance (NEWHA) Rookie of the Week. 

Jussila has been a steady presence in the Pioneers' lineup all season long. This past weekend, she recorded a key assist on Bria Holm's goal that gave the Pios a 3–1 lead. She also totaled four shots across the weekend and added a blocked shot.

Jussila's season stats now sit at three goals and four assists for a total of seven points. She has also recorded 24 blocked shots, showing she's been a strong presence on both ends of the ice.
