Norah Jackson earns High Point Rider honors as Sacred Heart edges NYU and LIU

BROOKLYN, N.Y. – The Sacred Heart University equestrian team delivered a championship performance on Sunday, claiming High Point Team honors with 42 points to edge out a tightly contested field that included NYU (41) and LIU (39). The Pioneers showcased depth across multiple divisions, highlighted by a dominant showing from Norah Jackson, who earned High Point Rider accolades.

Of Note:
Jackson was a standout throughout the day, securing first place in Intermediate Fences (Section B) and Limit Flat (Section A) to anchor the Pioneers' scoring surge.

Sacred Heart also received top finishes from several riders across both fences and flat events. Kylie Hwalek turned in a stellar performance with a first-place ride in Open Fences (Section A) and followed it up with a second-place finish in Open Flat (Section A). In Intermediate Flat, Kayla DeStephanis captured first place (Section B), while Ella DiFazio added a second-place (Section A) finish.

The Pioneers continued to rack up points in Limit Flat, where Sofia Greene earned first place (Section C) and Kallie Ramistella placed third (Section B). In Limit Fences, Olivia Herfert posted a third-place finish in Section B, while Harley Jimenez earned Reserve honors in Section A.

Additional contributions came from Lilliana St. Pierre, who placed third in Intermediate Fences (Section A), Morgan Gariepy with a third-place finish in Pre-Novice Flat (Section A), and Lindsay Chudy, who earned second place in Introductory Flat (Section C).
