Sacred Heart dominated at the Navy 7s Tournament, going a combined 7–0 and winning both championship brackets.
Annapolis, Md. – Sacred Heart dominated at the Navy 7s Tournament, going a combined 7–0 and winning both championship brackets. SHU Red finished 4–0, while SHU Grey went 3–0.
"The Love the Legacy tournament this weekend at Navy was a great way to start off our 7's season," said Head Coach, Michelle Reed. "I am proud of how each team embodied our values while executing game plans and strategies. The foundation is now set as we continue to work hard and build as a team into the next tournament, Pioneers 7s, right here at home."
SHU RED vs West Chester
Won 31-0, tries scored from Charlotte Duaser, Reese Torticill, Josie O'Donnell, Ashley Torres-Brown, and Megan Chura. Viola Koning made one conversion while Marley Gurmendi added 2 conversions.
