Aleksa Mandic Named EIVA Offensive Player of the Week

This is the first conference award of the year for the junior OH
FAIRFIELD, CONN - Aleksa Mandic of the Sacred Heart University Men's Volleyball team earned the Eatern Intercolliegate Volleyball Association's (EIVA) Offensive Player of the Week award.
He was essential on the outside for the Pioneers during a perfect two-win week. The junior outside hitter finished with 34 kills and 10 service aces across nine sets as Sacred Heart swept EIVA Opponent Princeton picking up 3–2 and 3–1 wins.
He posted 13 digs and four assists in two matches against the Tigers as well. In the opening match, Aleksa notched a match-high 18 kills along with two assists. He followed that effort with 16 kills and two assists the next day as he was named the ESPN+ Player of the Match.
Sacred Heart will host nationally ranked EIVA foe Penn State on Friday April 10th at 7:00pm in the Pitt Center.
