Haylie Wynne joins the program as an assistant coach for the Sacred Heart equestrian team after a successful collegiate riding career at The Ohio State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences with a specialization in Animal Industries and a minor in Psychology.
As a member of the Ohio State Hunt Seat Equestrian Team, Wynne earned 2023 Region 2 and Zone 6 Championship titles and represented the Buckeyes as the team’s sole competitor at the 2023 IHSA National Championship, placing ninth nationally.
During her junior year, Wynne worked and trained at Old Salem Farm under renowned professionals, supporting the development and success of horses and riders that earned top finishes at nationally recognized finals. Her time at Old Salem played a key role in launching her professional career in the equestrian industry.
She brings extensive hands-on experience in horse training, barn management, and equine care through roles with Sapphire Sporthorses, JC Eventing, and Brigadoon Show Stables, where she worked closely in rider development, horse care, and daily operations.
