Clements begins his sixth season as an assistant coach for the Sacred Heart football team. He works primarily with wide receivers and serves as the Pass Game Coordinator.
Clements started his collegiate career at Maine Maritime Academy where he played quarterback for the Mariners. He transferred to Saint Joseph’s College and was a catcher on the baseball team.
He graduated from SJC in 2011 with a degree in physical education. He earned a master’s in social science and comparative education from UCLA in 2011.
COACHNG AT SHU
- Instrumental in Sacred Heart winning conference championships in 2018, 2020-21 and 2021.
- Two FCS Playoff Tournament appearances
- Produced six all-conference honorees
- Worked with Tyrese Chambers, who was the 2019 NEC Offensive Rookie of the Year and a finalist for the Jerry Rice Award, given to the top freshman in the country.
- Also serves as the community service liaison

- Served as a graduate assistant
- Assisted the wide receivers, defense, and special teams.
- Mac Bolton and Darren Andrews earned All-Pac-12 accolades during that time and the Bruins played in the 2015 Foster Farms Bowl.
