Saporito enters his 11th season as an assistant coach for the Sacred Heart football team in 2026. He works primarily with special teams and wide receivers.Â

Saporito earned his bachelor's degree in History from Iona College in 2006. He played two seasons as a graduate student at Western New Mexico University, primarily as a receiver and on special teams.

- Was part of the 2018, 2020-21, and 2021 NEC Championship Teams
- Was part of the 2024 and 2025 Yankee Conference Cup Championship Teams
- Helped the Pios finish 2021 ranked 22nd in the FCS National Poll
- Produced two All-American's - James Rentz and Noah Gettman
- In 2015, Rentz earned FCS National Special Teams Player of the Week
- Coached multiple NEC Special Teams Player of the Week -Â James Ross, Alec Finney, Ezekiel Ennis, Noah GettmanÂ
