Hendrick enters his first season as an assistant coach for the Sacred Heart football team. He works primarily with the corner backs.
Hendrick is a graduate of Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, where he earned his degree in Business administration.
He was a four-year member of the football team, and became one of the nation’s most prominent defensive backs in any division of the NCAA during his time with the Scots. He was named a Division II All-American and an All-Region selection in his junior and senior seasons with the Scots.
Hendrick recorded 195 career tackles, and has a school-record 21 career interceptions. He also holds the record for picks in a single season with nine in the 2017 season, a figure that also led all Division II players that year. Hendrick received two NFL rookie mini camp invitations, one with the Chicago Bears, and the other with the Denver Broncos.
