Fairfield, Conn.—After scoring in both of last week's wins, Ashley Moore (Levittown, N.Y.) of the Sacred Heart Women's Soccer Team has been named Northeast Conference Co-Player of the Week. She shares the honor with Quinnipiac's Kemesha Woodfine.
Moore recorded her first goal of the season in the 2-1 win against Lafayette, scoring the game-winning goal for the Pioneers' first win of the season. On Sunday she set the pace for the game against Manhattan, scoring the first goal just nine minutes in Sacred Heart's 2-1 win. The senior led the team with five shots, three of which were on goal.
The Pioneers are back in action Tuesday evening against the Bulldogs of Yale in New Haven.
