Abbie Crescitelli is entering her first year at Sacred Heart University as Assistant Athletic Trainer. Her primary sport responsibilities are our Women’s Softball and Women’s Swimming and Diving teams.
Crescitelli joins SHU’s Athletic Training staff after spending the last two years as a graduate assistant at Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, Kentucky. While at EKU she worked primarily with the Baseball Team, and also assisted with the university’s Football Team. During her time at Eastern Kentucky she also completed her Master of Science degree in Exercise and Sport Science.
Abbie received Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training from the University of Cincinnati in 2018. During her four years at UC, she worked with a variety of teams including the Men’s Soccer, Track and Field, Baseball, and Football Teams.
Crescitelli has been a member of National Athletic Training Association since 2014. She maintains a Connecticut state Athletic Training license and has been a BOC certified Athletic Trainer since 2018.
Originally from Northampton, Massachusetts, she is excited to be back in in the New England area and working with our great staff here at Sacred Heart. She currently resides in Bridgeport, Connecticut with her dog, Bruin.
