The 2015-16 season was Dunlop's fourth as assistant coach at Sacred Heart. Prior to joining the staff, she graduated from SHU in 2010 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology before completing a Masters of Applied Psychology in 2011.

The 2-year team captain played four years under current Head Coach Tom O’Malley from 2007-2010. As a senior, Dunlop was nominated for the Patty Kazmaier award, which is awarded annually to the top player in NCAA Division I women’s ice hockey. She finished her Pioneer career with 63 points on 28 goals and 35 assists.
