Michael Ames joined Sacred Heart University in August of 2021 and serves as the Assistant Director of Athletic Ticketing. He is responsible for managing all aspects of ticketing sales, service, game day ticket operations and student ticketing.
Ames managed the implementation and transition to the Ticketmaster ticketing system as well as the manifest and build out of the Martire Family Arena within the ticket system.
Ames’ previous experience includes three years with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers, the New York Islanders AHL affiliate, managing their hockey box office, and two years with the Toronto Blue Jays/Dunedin Blue Jays managing their spring training box office.
Ames holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Tampa and a MBA from Saint Leo University.
