
Sacred Heart Soccer Falls to Monmouth, 2-0, in Northeast Conference Action

West Long Branch, NJ (October 20, 2002) - Anthony Viscariello converted a Nick Randazzo pass at 24:15 of the first half and the Monmouth Hawks never looked back en route to a 2-0 victory over Sacred Heart in Northeast Conference action Sunday afternoon.
Keith Pareti knocked in his first goal of 2002 in the 80th minute off a pass from Viscariello to put the game out of reach. The win moves Monmouth to 4-8-0 and 2-2-0 in the NEC while SHU falls to 0-11-2 and 0-5-1 in the conference.
Hawk goaltender Arthur Satterwhite recorded two saves in picking up the shutout win while Jason Roeder (Independence, MN) and Anthony Lombardo (Fairfield, NJ) combined for 10 saves in the loss.
Sacred Heart returns to action Sunday, October 27th when the will host in-state rival Quinnipiac at 2 pm.
