
LUI Dominates Men's Soccer in 4-0 Loss

Brooklyn, NY (October 25, 2003) - The Sacred Heart University men's soccer team fell to 1-8-5 and 0-4-2 in NEC matches with 4-0 loss at Long Island. Ryszard needed to make just one save as the Blackbirds shutout the Pioneers.
The game was scoreless until the 65th minute when Josh Couvillion opened the floodgates with the first of four goals in a span of 12:46. David Ledet, David Schofield and Jonas Stigh scored one goal each in the match.
Pioneers goalkeeper Chris Marchese made two saves in taking the loss. The Blackbirds out shot Sacred Heart 16-5 in the match.
The Pioneers will return to action on Tuesday, October 28, for a 7:00 PM match at St. Francis (NY).
