OXFORD, OH (February 21, 2003) - The Sacred Heart men's ice hockey team lost to Central Collegiate Hockey Association opponent Miami University, 1-0. Senior goalie Eddy Ferhi (Charenton, France) came up big for the Pioneers stopping 44 of 45 shots on goal.
RedHawk Todd Grant scored the eventual game-winner at 14:31 in the first period from Nick Jardine and Pat Levendusky. The second and third periods remained scoreless.
RedHawk goaltender David Burleigh made 23 saves in the win, and second consecutive shut-out.
The Pioneers return to the ice tomorrow, February 22nd, for the rematch with Miami University in Oxford, Ohio at 7:35 pm. Live stats are available at www.muredhawks.com.
