Men's Soccer defeated by #13 Brown 2-0

Providence, RI (September 26, 2002)- The Sacred Heart University men's soccer team was dominated in a 2-0 loss at #13 ranked Brown. The Bears out-shot the Pioneers 26-2, not allowing a shot in the second half. With the loss the Pioneers ended a four game unbeaten streak.

Brian Perry scored with 1:56 remaining in the first half with the first goal of his collegiate career. Seth Quidachay-Swan added a sdecond half goal of his own to seal the win for the Bears.

Chris Gray made seven saves in his first appearance of the year for the Pioneers. Chris Gomez nedded to make just one save for Brown.

The Pioneers will return action on Saturday when they travel to Miane for a 1:00 PM match.
