Carlos Silva Named to NEISL All-Star Team

FAIRFIELD, CT (March 30, 2004) - Senior captain Carlos Silva (East Haven, CT) was selected to participate in the New England Intercollegiate Soccer League Senior All-Star Game. He was one of just two players from the Northeast Conference chosen to participate.
Each spring member coaches of the NEISL select 60 of the top senior collegiate players from NCAA Division I, Division II and Division III institutions to compete on the NEISL Senior All-Star Teams. This year's game will be held at Babson College in Babson Park, MA on Sunday, April 25, 2004. Kick off is scheduled for 5:00 pm.
Silva, a midfielder, has played in 55 games during his collegiate career, including 27 starts. He scored his first career goal in a 1-0 win over VMI earlier this season on August 31, 2003 at the CCSU Cup.
