Dan North earns conference honors

FAIRFIELD, CT (September 22) - In helping lead Sacred Heart to its first victory of the season, North utilized some nifty footwork before sending a through pass to Gustavo Netto, who found the back of the net in the 36th minute of the Pioneers' 2-1 win over Maine on Friday. Hailing from Scunthrope, England, North has already proven effective at limiting opportunities for opponents from his center-back position as Maine managed just three shots on goal in the contest.
North and the rest of the Pioneers return to action on Friday, October 1, when the travel to face cross-state rivals Quinnipiac at 3:00 PM.
