Nemanja Filimonovic Selected to All-Northeast Conference Second Team

Senior Nemanja Filimonovic (Belgrade, Serbia) was named to the All-Northeast Conference second team after a vote by the league coaches. Filimonovic led the Pioneers with eight points in 2009, posting two goals and four assists from his central midfield position. Filimonovic played in 15 games and made 14 starts for Sacred Heart this season.
Filimonovic scored the game winning goal in SHU's second game of the season, a 1-0 victory over Siena. Filimonovic's four helpers tie him for sixth in the Northeast Conference and earned him the Pioneers onliy nod on an All-Conference team this season.
