SHU Tennis Defeats St. Peter's 6-1

New Haven, CT – The Sacred Heart men's tennis team took care of St. Peter's, 6-1, Saturday night at Yale University. With the victory, the Pioneers notch their first non conference victory of the season and improve to 2-4 on the young season.
"We had a great effort from all the guys. They have been working hard in practice and it shows in their play. The four freshmen played great," commented Head Coach Paul Gagliardi on the victory.
The Pioneers hit the courts next this coming Saturday right back at Yale University against Saint Francis (PA)
