ROCKY HILL, Conn – The Sacred Heart men's tennis team dropped the doubles point and lost four of six singles matches in a 5-2 loss to Boston University Saturday afternoon in Rocky Hill.
At number one singles, Brian Power (Pelham, NY) achieved one of the Pioneers' two points with a 6-3, 3-6, 10-6 win over Chanon Varapongsittikul. Justin Pagan (Flushing, NY) earned Sacred Heart's other point with a 6-5, 6-3 win over Jesse Frieder at the number two spot.
In doubles action, the duo of Power and Matt Dean (Newington, CT) got the Pioneers only win with a 6-2 victory over Varapongsittikul and Leelavanich.
