NEW HAVEN, CONN - The Sacred Heart University men's tennis team traveled to New Haven to compete in the ITA Regionals hosted by Yale.
Frederick McRae had a good tournament, winning both of his matches on Thursday in the men's singles qualifying draw to gain entry into the main draw, which was played Friday. He won his first match over Dartmouth's Malhar Patel, 6-3,6-1 and then defeated Stonehill's Allesandro Munoz 6-2,6-4 to get into the main draw. In the first round of the main draw, he lost to the #9 seed Zhengqing Ji, 6-4,6-4.
