The Sacred Heart cheerleading team claimed the program's highest finish at the National Cheerleading Association National Championship in Daytona Beach, Fl. last week closing out their 2013-14 season. After having to revamp their routine at the last moment, the Pioneers finished just one point out of ninth place for a tenth place finish.
"I am very proud of them," said Head Coach Aimee Piccin. "Ultimately, it was a successful season with some great placements."
Taking the top three spots in the Pioneers' division were Sam Houston State, Morgan State and Towson.
