WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Sacred Heart University men's tennis team dropped a, 7-0, decision at Army on Sunday afternoon. The Pioneers are now 0-6, while the Black Knights improve to 5-3.
Matt Dean came closest to earning SHU a point in both singles and doubles. In his first singles match, he dropped two closes sets, 6-4, 6-4. Playing at first doubles with partner Brian Power, the two fell, 8-5. Also in doubles action at the third flight, freshman Mathieu Pilote-Schraenen and Cory Seltman lost battled to an, 8-4, defeat.
The Pioneers continue their season next Saturday with match at Harford. The time has yet to be announced.
